PARALOOPS™ are manufactured from PARAWEB™, and are made to specific customer requirements for strength, width, physical properties and durability.

PARAWEB™ consists of discrete bundles of parallel high strength synthetic fibres in a tough and durable polymeric sheath.

Various synthetic fibres are used, commonly high tenacity polyester, or aramid types when a higher modulus is required.

A number of materials can be utilised for the polymeric sheath eg: specially formulated polyethylene; EVA co-polymer (which is more flexible and stress-crack resistant); polyester elastomer, (when a higher resistance to heat and abrasion is required).

The versatility of PARAWEB™makes it an ideal material from which to construct PARALOOPS™ of all shapes and sizes, meeting various difficult technical and chemical resistance requirements. PARALOOPS™ are performing satisfactorily in many challenging and aggressive environments through-out the world.

Applications include: "Piggy-backing" of undersea pipelines; anchorage of pipes to undersea structures; multiple fixing straps for chemical pipework ; securing buoyancy modules on oil pipe lines etc.

PARALOOPS™ are the ideal solution to the problem of securing components together, or a component to a structure, in a demanding environment, be it above or below ground, in tropical or freezing conditions, or under the sea.
